Horticultural Production
Two sets of statistics are kept on horticultural production – horticultural statistics and apple orchard statistics. The former cover horticultural production in its entirety. The latter are small in scope and are published at five-year intervals for the needs of the EU.
Horticultural statistics
Horticultural statistics cover all horticultural production from the cultivation of food plants to the production of ornamental plants. The statistics include information on the number of horticultural enterprises, the areas cultivated by them, yields, and the number and usage of greenhouses.
