Description
The statistics contain the harvest yields for Finland’s major, organically grown field crops and information on their on-farm use. Data is collected as a sample survey of organic farmers and only includes certified organic land that is completely given over to organic production (transitional phase areas are not included).
Content
The statistics contain information on the harvested areas and yields of cereals, turnip rape, potatoes, peas, hay and silage. They also illustrate on-farm use, either as standard or organic produce, and figures on sales from farms as either standard or organic produce. The first questionnaire was sent in 2006.
